The Halonix Shield Portable UV Sanitiser uses the power of UVC source at wavelength 260-280 nm to destroy germs. The Portable UV Sanitiser sanitises various personal items that get exposed when you go out. It is designed to sanitise all surfaces of the items such as mobile phones (up to 6.5 inches in size), watch, pen, jewellery or anything else that can fit in the device. All the surfaces of the items placed in the device get sanitised at one go making it really convenient, efficacious, and efficient.

Automatic Sterilization in 6 Minutes
After you connect the device to a power source, open the device and put item(s) in. Ensure items are not overlapping each other. Close the lid and the sterilization process will start automatically. The process will take 6 minutes after which the device will stop automatically and you can take out the sterilized item(s) at your convenience.

How long is the lifespan of the device?
The life of the UVC source is typically 10,000 hours. Depending on usage, it is designed to last at least 3 years.
What size of mobile phone does it support?
The inner dimension of the product is L170*W88*H18 mm. So any mobile phone smaller than this size can be sterilized with the item. Most smartphones of leading brands can be sterilized with this device.
What are the things which I can use this device to disinfect?
Any non-liquid item that fits inside the box can be disinfected using the device. Articles made out of plastic, metal, cloth or any other material can be disinfected. Even eatables can be disinfected using the device. The device is also suitable and safe of disinfecting your infant or toddler child’s articles.
Is it possible to disinfect liquids?
No. It is not designed to disinfect liquids.
Does the product contain a lithium battery?
The device does not contain any kind of battery, nor does it have function of charging. So it works only when it is connected to a power source through its micro-USB cord and a mobile charger.
What is the principle of ultraviolet sterilization?
Ultraviolet rays destroy the molecular structure of DNA or RNA in microbial cells and causes the germ to disintegrate rendering it harmless. This process, when conducted safely, has no harmful side effects. Human skin exposure to UV light should be avoided, and multiple safety features have been built into the device to ensure that it is safe for use.
